September Newsletter

On September 18, 2008 (at 2:30), we will have our first playdate. This is the 3^rd Thursday in September “get-together” and it is at Lake Clarke Shores Park (LCSP). Rather than an organized meeting, this is our time to get to know each other, let the children play and develop friendships.

LCSP is best reached through the back (as there is construction going on in front.) South of Forest Hill, just east of Florida Mango Road, there is an entrance to the Flagler Square/Suntrust Bank center. Go in there and go east (left) until you reach a fence. Park and walk through the gate, past police vehicle parking, continuing to play area.

On September 25, 2008, which is the 4^th Thursday in September, we will have an “organizational tips” meeting at 2:30 at the Palm Springs Park (PSP).

(PSP can be reached by taking Congress to the Greenbrier Shopping center (Publix, Friendly’s) [there’s a traffic light at this intersection]; turn onto Greenbrier Rd away from the Publix (going west). Turn right (north) onto Davis Road. [There’s a stop sign at this intersection.] Take your first right (Cypress Lane) into the Palm Springs Library parking lot. Wrap around the library and look for a small water area and pavilion.)
